Happy Peace and Love Day!
A Word From Beyond
One earth. Billions of humans. Similar yet different in many ways!
This difference is what makes life both mystical and overwhelming.
A globe of minds, the same ground, different roots.
The essence of life is vibrantly flowing through us all, yet we find it so difficult to appreciate our unique differences.
Understanding another human being and appreciating his uniqueness is what will make the world a more joyous one.
No matter what your race, ethnicity, or religion, creating a space for humans to meet all together and share their masterpieces without being judged or discriminated against is what our world needs.
What if everyone started appreciating differences?
What if everyone started accepting?
What if everyone started understanding more and judging less?
The boundary between the worlds we created for ourselves is actually thin and illusory. Our nature as human beings will always surpass it since it’s very potent and powerful. The boundary is usually crossed in a violent way, demonizing others, putting them down, and looking at them as useless humans if they look or speak in a different way, instead of peace being our powerful way of communicating.
Our true fortress, the inner citadel that is within us all, is fueled with love and peace. If we allow it to break free from the noise of external adversity, it can never break down, and it will let us connect with our true authentic selves, and we can be the pioneers of change on this earth. Although appreciating differences isn’t always going to be an easy path, what we can do at least is create a space for respect.
Peace is the way
Acceptance is the way
Appreciating differences is the way
Quotes From Souls
Empathy is choosing to see ourselves in another despite our differences. It’s recognizing that the same humanity – the same desire for meaning, fulfillment and security – exists in each of us, even if it’s expressed uniquely. — Vivek Murthy
We’re all human beings, in the end, despite our differences. — Timothy Morton
Self-Reflection Questions
What you seek is within you, if only you reflect.
How judgemental of others are you?
Do you accept yourself as being different and one of a kind? If so, how do you reflect that on others?
Do you find it relatively easy to accept others as they are?
