Happy Peace and Love Day!
A Word From Beyond
We are an island unto ourselves.
Solitude is not loneliness. Solitude is connecting to the soul within.
We come to this world with a seed of our soul, and we leave it tainted in the souls of others. The wholeness or the hollowness of our existence is marked by how we have cultivated our solitude.
We are social creatures by nature, yet when one fails to be whole by itself, life with other beings will be more complicated.
Living in solitude separates you from the outer world and brings you closer to your inner self and the beating heart of the universe. Your vision expands and you start experiencing the world beyond any social limitations and rules. Choosing to “be” in your realm will help you uncover many parts of yourself that remain blurry for others who let themselves be socially absorbed.
Embracing your solitude is what I call the “Painful Growth of a Soul.” Similar to a butterfly struggling its way out of its cocoon, the struggle that the butterfly goes through helps it to strengthen its wings so that it can fly freely in the world.
If you try and help the butterfly break out of its cocoon, it will come with shriveled wings and will be bound to the ground.
The butterfly does not fly despite its struggle out of the cocoon, but rather because of it. This applies when you skip the journey of living in solitude and hang your soul at the door of the outer world. Instead of breaking through your conditioning and discovering your essence, you remain enclosed in the perspectives and realms of others.
Despite the fact that the journey of solitude can be overwhelming and painful, the freedom you gain over yourself is priceless.
You realize that everyone is caught up in their own perspectives, worlds, desires, conditioning, and beliefs, and the only way you can potentially transcend being trapped in that hole is to embrace your solitude and plant the seed of being in service to others, rather than letting them help you break free from your cocoon, which will only weaken your soul.
As the butterfly breaks from its cocoon and goes, spreading its beauty and joy around the world with its fellow butterflies,
So be it

Quotes From Souls
Great men are like eagles, and build their nest on some lofty solitude. — Arthur Schopenhauer
Solitude is very different from a ‘time-out’ from our busy lives. Solitude is the very ground from which community grows. Whenever we pray alone, study, read, write, or simply spend quiet time away from the places where we interact with each other directly, we are potentially opened for a deeper intimacy with each other. — Henri Nouwen
