Happy Peace and Love Day!

A Word From Beyond

Mistakes are part of us.

We can’t progress in life without mistakes. They make us who we are and help us decide who we want to become.

Mistakes are our gateway to growth.

Growth is painful, and mistakes are your pass ticket. They help you level up. They will never get enough of you.

Accepting our mistakes and making peace with ourselves for making them is usually the hardest thing we face. Simply because we don’t accept that we are flawed human beings. We are imperfect. It’s our nature. We try and go against our nature. We beat ourselves up and we bring ourselves down to that hole of self-criticism, low self-esteem, depression, and all the negative emotions.

Accepting that we did the best we could back then and that we could do better now if we change our perspective and embrace our mistakes and put them into action is a work of art that many of us miss by dwelling on the past.

The thing is, many of us get stuck in that voice in our head, “I should’ve done this” or “I could’ve done better” or “I’m not good at anything”, which makes us stuck and sucks our energy that we can potentially put to good use.

We are our worst enemies. If we beat ourselves up, who do you think will help us get out of that hole? Who do you think genuinely cares about your life? Who do you think will rescue you from that spiral? Who do you think will make peace with yourself and move on?

Well, no one. You only have yourself. Others may sympathize with you, but you are your only rescuer. You’re the only one who can take ownership of your mistakes, change your perspective and move forward. Accept it or not, that’s the truth. You can only make that decision and be responsible for your life, or you’ll be forever lost in the world.

Mistakes are your weapon. You either use them to crash through your growth, or you’ll end up crashing yourself.

Embrace your nature

Accept your mistakes

Forgive yourself

Move forward

Be kind to yourself in the process

Quotes From Souls

“You need to be out on the street, interacting with people, trying things out, learning from your mistakes, not being afraid to make mistakes or be ridiculed.” — Robert Greene

“Great accomplishments aren’t easy, but they’re worth it! So forget how you feel and remember what you deserve. Right now is always the best time to break out of your shell. You must take chances, make mistakes, and learn the lessons along the way.”Marc Chernoff

Self-Reflection Questions

What you seek is within you, if only you reflect.

How do you deal with mistakes? Do you punish yourself or accept them as a part of you?

How would you define your mistakes if there were no outside judgments?

How would you treat a kid learning his life through making mistakes?

Can you imagine yourself being more gentle on yourself and accepting that making mistakes is part of human nature?
